Production of an installation designed by Barkow Leibinger for the 14th Architecture Biennale in Venice “Fundamentals”, curated by Rem Koolhaas. The “Kinetic Wall” was part of the main exhibition at the Central Pavilion, focussed on the essential elements of all architecture (the door, the floor, the ceiling, the wall etc.)
The wall is made up of a two-layer textile screen mounted on a wooden framework, which is continuously moved and moulded by 18 telescopic arms.
